Ingredients
  

For the Piña Colada Layer
  • 1 slice Pineapple
  • 1.5 oz Coconut cream
  • 1.5 oz Rum
  • Ice double the liquid amount
For the Strawberry Daiquiri Layer
  • 3 Strawberries (large)
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1.5 oz Rum
  • Ice double the liquid amount
For Garnish
  • 1 Pineapple slice (cut into a triangle)
  • Few strawberry pieces

Method
 

  1. Start with the piña colada layer. Take one slice of pineapple, cut it into small chunks, and add it to your blender. Pour in 1.5 ounces of coconut cream, followed by 1.5 ounces of rum. Add double the amount of ice so you get that thick, frozen texture. Blend everything until smooth and creamy.
  2. Once blended, pour the mixture into a glass and set it aside.
  3. Now move on to the strawberry daiquiri layer. Take three large strawberries, cut them into small pieces, and add them to the blender. Add two tablespoons of sugar, then pour in 1.5 ounces of rum. Again, add double the amount of ice and blend until smooth.
  4. To create that signature Miami Vice look, you’ll want to keep the layers separate. Use a knife or pour slowly along the side of the glass to divide the drink visually. Carefully add the strawberry daiquiri mixture so it sits next to the piña colada instead of mixing.
