Ingredients

  • 2 oz Bourbon
  • ½ oz Fresh lime juice
  • 4 oz Ginger beer
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime wedge (for garnish)
  • Fresh mint (optional, for garnish)

Method

  1. First thing, grab your glass. If you’ve got a copper mug, even better, but any glass works just fine. Fill it up with ice, don’t be shy with it. You want it nice and cold.
  2. Next, pour in your bourbon right over the ice. Then go in with that fresh lime juice. Please use fresh lime, it really does make a difference here.
  3. Now top it off with your ginger beer. Give it a gentle stir, nothing crazy, just enough to bring everything together.
  4. Finish it off with a lime wedge on the side and a little mint if you’ve got some. And that’s it, you’re done.
