Dates Caramel Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Pitted dates
  • ½ cup Full-fat coconut milk (including the thick cream portion)
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Heavy pinch of salt

Method
 

  1. Soak the Dates : Place the pitted dates in a bowl and cover with hot water. Let soak for 60 minutes to soften. Drain well.
  2. Add Ingredients to Blender : Add the soaked dates, full-fat coconut milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and a heavy pinch of salt to a high-speed blender.
  3. Blend Until Smooth : Blend until completely smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed. The sauce should be thick and glossy.
  4. Adjust & Serve : If needed, add 1–2 teaspoons of warm water to thin. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge.
